I am a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 13 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. I completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and from my own health struggles, I made a radical shift from engineering to healthcare. I am committed to helping individuals suffering from chronic pain or disease through a biopsychosocial and pain science approach with the goal of helping you avoid any unnecessary surgeries or medications. Some areas of focus: Grief and Chronic Pain: Grief can cause pain and many other physical symptoms. I know this from my own experience of losing my brother suddenly at the age of 38. I had severe hip pain the week of his funeral and I have dealt with other symptoms since then. I can help you make those connections and we can also work alongside a grief counselor to help your process what you are going through. Religion and Chronic Pain: I work with people of any faith or creed but have particular experience with Christianity due to my own upbringing as an Orthodox Christian. Many Christians feel they are meant to live with chronic pain and illness as a way of growing closer to God. Many also feel that God wants them to suffer.
