Recovery Starts with Understanding
I specialize in treating a wide range of chronic pain conditions through a neuroplastic, Mind Body approach. Below you will find a list of common diagnoses and symptoms we address to help you determine if telehealth physical therapy is the right fit for your healing journey. Physical Therapy is beneficial for both structural and neuroplastic chronic pain conditions and we can decide what treatments will work best.

The Mind Body Approach
Healing chronic pain starts with understanding that your nervous system is a master learner. Through neuroplasticity, your brain can accidentally learn to create pain even after tissue has healed. My approach focuses on teaching your brain that you are safe, using simple, body-based techniques to rewire these signals.
By using a whole body approach which includes facing fears, reducing stress, processing emotions, and adding movement I can help you shift from a state of protection to a state of connection. This isn't just about managing symptoms—it's about retraining your neurobiology for long-term comfort and confidence in your body's ability to heal.
Chronic Pain Syndromes
Chronic pain is a frequent condition, affecting an estimated 20% of people worldwide. It is multifactorial: biological, psychological and social factors contribute to the pain syndrome (IASP)
Chronic Pain
Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS)
Physical pain triggered by emotional stress. Reversible through understanding the brain's role in creating defense signals. Focus on reducing stress and expressing emotions.
Neuroplastic Pain
Pain caused by the brain misinterpreting safe signals as dangerous. I use neuroplasticity to teach your brain safety.
Central Sensitization
An over-responsive nervous system. Healing involves gradual exposure and soothing techniques to restore normal sensitivity.
CRPS/RSD
A complex condition often involving intense pain and body changes. My approach emphasizes functional restoration and nervous system regulation.
Neck and Back Pain
Building resilience and flexibility through mindful movement, moving away from fear-based protection of the spine.
Sciatica
Calming nerve irritation and restoring mobility though a neuroplastic and structural approach as needed.
Spondylolisthesis
Using a neuroplastic treatment approach and adding movement throughout the spine to reduce fear of pain and fear of long-term damage.
Spinal and Nerve Conditions
I focus on restoring your natural movement patterns and calming the nervous system, empowering you to move with confidence despite your diagnosis.
Headaches/Migraines
Addressing neural sensitivity and tension through brain-body regulation to reduce intensity and frequency.
Spinal Stenosis
Optimizing function and strength to support your body's natural structure, ensuring you stay active and mobile.
Herniated Discs
Focusing on healing and functional capacity. Most structural changes are a normal part of life and do not prevent recovery.
Degenerative Disc Disease
Shifting the focus from the clinical label to functional longevity. Research has shown that many people with DDD have no symptoms.
